Laboratorio de Ecología Acuática

Tiene como objetivo general estudiar la biodiversidad y ecología de organismos acuáticos que habitan cuerpos de agua marino-costeros y de agua dulce. Enfocándose en las estrategias ecológicas y de historia de vida de las especies frente a modificaciones del ambiente, identificando especies indicadoras de cambios ambientales, y su papel en la trama trófica; de manera de contribuir en el manejo, la sostenibilidad y conservación de los ecosistemas acuáticos.
